Smith Point is one of the many beaches on Long Island. During the day in the summer time, it is usually highly populated due to the fact that its summer! Thats why the best time to go is right before the sunset. Though there are still people there, there is not nearly as many as during the day. It is so peaceful to just sit at the water alone and watch the sunset and to hear the waves crash. Most of the times me and my friends will go together which makes the time spent there more enjoyable.
