Though this is a place you would be going to when you leave Long Island, it is a place that is beautiful. Many people take the ferry from Connecticut to get to Long Island. I am one of them. It is a peaceful break from the long drive home from New Hampshire. During the ride you can peacefully sit in or outside and watch the beautiful Long Island Sound. There is a small restaurant on the boat, televisions and even a bar!
